Centralized SDH Optical Transmission system
OTS-155C


OTS-155C is a STM-1 optical transmission system, whose technical performances are fully complied with ITU-T and ETSI standards. This system has multiple155.52Mb/s optical interfaces, complete synchronous timing features, as well as a powerful non-block TU cross connection matrix. It can be used for building point to point, chain, star and ring networks, with SNCP features, serving departments of telecommunications, traffic, energy resources, etc.

Features
OTS-155C system is divided into two major parts of hardware system and software network management platform; features of hardware system are as follows:
> 6-optical-port, STM-1rate MADM or TM multiplexing equipment;
> Support up to 23*E1 up/down;
> Provide Ethernet access of channelized E1 and shared-DS3;
> Support cross connection of all VC-12 and VC-3;
> Support SETS. It is possible to choose tracking optical circuit timing
   source or external synchronization input, provide synchronization output,
   and automatically handle timing source rearrangement according to failure
   information or SSM;
> Support channel protection and SNCP, protection rearrangement time is
   shorter than international standard;
> EOW system realized in whole hardware supports site selection for calling
   and conference, up to 99 station.

Benefit

As an cross MUX, acts as the transmission network hinge, it can provide up to 6*155.52Mb/s optical interfaces and 210*E1 for multiplexing. High-order and low-order tributaries can all realize non-blocking cross-assignment.
As a TM, acts as the module of a large switcher, it can multiplex 231*E1 and provide 1+1 channel backup for each E1.
As an optical Ethernet bridge, acts as a centralized access equipment MAN, realizing remote connection of 88 pairs of 10M Ethernet through E1 channels.
As a regenerator, it can provide direct connection of 3*155.52Mb/s(VC4) optical links, extending the transmission distance.

Network Management
> The network management system includes centralized network management and local management terminal.
   It is based on CCVIEW-SDH network management platform. CCVIEW-SDH is designed based on ITU-T
   related recommendations, so as to realize network resources, configuration, alarms, performance and
   security management. It has following features:
> Local NMS by 10/100Base-T port or RS232 serial port;
> Based on PC, can manage multiple subnet with separated optical routes, realizing internet-based
  remote network management;
> Based on TCP/IP, support remote-controlled embedded software online upgrading without impacting
  business operations, has good expansibility;
> Friendly human-computer interaction, clear interface interleaving mode, and operator-oriented optimized design;
> Provide voice alarm tips, simplified equipment alarm display, convenient for application and maintenance;
> Use NVRAM to record the alarm and even log.

Typical Application
OTS-155C can be used for building point-to-point, chain, star of ring network, with SNCP features, serving departments of Telecom, Traffic or Energy industry, etc.
