The core part of Ethernet Fiber modem is ASIC chip. The chip adopts reducing jitter unique patented technology, digital lock and clock extraction techniques, anti-interference interface technology, etc. Structures of hardware and software inside the device are modular. Hardware uses a large-scale AISIC chips integrating encoding, decoding, information insertion and alarm, which simplifies the circuit. Thereby the reliability of the machine is improved. Ethernet fiber modem uses optical fiber communication lines to provide bandwidth of up to 2M Ethernet data transmission channels, connecting the two LANs through optical fiber. The modem is particularly suitable for the LAN extension, network isolation, LAN access and other applications. And it can connect Ethernet to telecommunication transmission network, the network or wide area network and so on via fiber channel.
