Converged Bridge
NIG-STM1
NIG-STM1 is a new comprehensive converged bridge access device launched by CCOM Communications Technology Co., Ltd. With the development of modern communications technology, a variety of new applications emerge. Operators face the pressure of constantly upgrading, replacing and reconstructing access network. It is inevitable trend of access network to develop from supporting single business network into supporting multi-service network, especially for comprehensive access of multi-media and IP business. We launch highly integrated NIG-STM1 comprehensive access equipment based on the long-term R&D experience in the field of access network equipment. The equipment solves existing problems of edge access network and makes it possible to connect business to the core access network perfectly. It is upgradeable, manageable, node-less and economic.
Features
- Integrated with traditional transmission line, use general international standards;
- Easy to deploy, different line groups to support multiple services provided by equipment;
- Integrate two-layer exchange with transitional protocol transfer; interfaces both of transmission end and user end have convergent function;
- Dual optical fiber interface, automatic monitoring and shift for optical interface failure provided, constantly running;
- Equipment provides plug-in module, 63 single E1, 7 8EB and 12 5EB Bridges at most; rear panel provides 4 converged card slots with flexible configuration;
- Flexible configuration of slot time and E1 binding setting, convenient and easy for users;
Convenient working environment;
- Simple management pattern to help users to finish rapid deploy of application connection;
Support WEB logon management, provide functions: network, converged card, and SDH settings, user management, network testing etc.;
- Compatible completely with single E1 protocol transfer (HDLC) of main-stream manufacturers; with wide subject range; able to connect with other manufacturers’ products which follow the same standards.

Typical Application
Typical Application
NIG-SMT1 Converged Bridge is used to transmit transparently Ethernet data in 63 E1 lines, the maximum forwarding rate up to 129.024 Mb/s. International standard protocols (G.7041, G.7042, G.7043, and G.8040) are used in the protocol processing. NIG-SMT1 is compatible with other manufacturers’ products which follow the same standards. The product not only provides the whole alarm/status indicators for the E1 line and Ethernet interface, but also has flow statistics of Ethernet data and other advanced management functions. The equipment has these advantages: high integration, low power consumption, stable performance and easy operation.
NIG-SMT1 Converged Bridge is a protocol converter with Ethernet-to-E1 interface and STM-1 optical interface. It makes full use of existing E1 resource, and there is no need to change the existing network structure. It is convenient for operators to meet the clients’ demand of access with low cost.
